Air Force took advantage of an extra player deep into extra time to salvage a point in a match that could have been easily a win for Loyola. James Younghusband was shown a red card by the referee after a tussle with Air Force's Herbert Bayona, giving way for striker Ian Araneta to score the equalizer in the 95th minute.

Loyola actually led at halftime, 2-1, through goals from Phil Younghusband and David Hartmann. By the 82nd minute, Younghusband - the league's leading goal scorer - added another giving Loyola a 3-1 edge.

Joebel Bermejo's goal in the 92nd minute cut the Air Force deficit to a single goal right before Younghusband was ushered off the pitch for the straight red. The national team midfielder will miss the team's next match due to suspension.
