Philippines international Carli de Murga led Global to a 5-1 drubbing of Kaya to go top of the Division 1 league table. Both clubs were deadlocked at 1-1 after the 9th minute with goals from Global's Nigerian midfielder Valentine Kama and Kaya's Ivorian striker Eric Dagroh.
Goals from Izo Elhabbib and de Murga brought Global ahead 3-1 at the break. In the second half, Kaya's Adrien Semblat mishandled a clearance resulting to an own goal, making matters worse for Kaya. In injury time, de Murga added another goal complete the demolition job.
