The Cebuano club continues its ascend to the top of the Division 2 league table, scoring four goals against the struggling Lions. Rommel Cuizon and Ariel Cahilig scored a goal each in the first half to bring Queen City United two goals up, until Issachar Mozol put the Lions on the board before the half time break.
The Cebuanos then added two more goals in the second half to break the Lions' resolve, eventually clinching the complete three points. They now trail league leader Pachanga by six points and second-place Diliman by just four points after 11 matches. Meanwhile, the Lions fail to get out of a three-team logjam at the bottom of the table along with Manila All-Japan and Sunken Garden.
